Field Notes from the Path

A Soul Trip Reflection

Standing there, the tracks disappeared into the horizon.

And it reminded me how often our own paths unfold the same way.

Not all at once.

Not fully visible.

But steadily, quietly, step by step.

Paths unfold the way breath does —one moment, one step, one quiet realization at a time.

In yoga, we often talk about practice as a journey inward. Not a destination to reach, but a way of moving through life with awareness.

Some days the journey feels like forward motion.

Other days it feels quieter than that — like pausing long enough to notice where you are standing.

The cool air.

The low clouds.

The hum of distant lights across the fields.

Moments like this remind me that the path is already happening beneath our feet.

Like railroad tracks stretching into the distance, it continues forward whether we see the horizon clearly or not.

And every now and then, standing still long enough to notice the moment becomes part of the journey itself.
