Field Note — Between Ground and Distance

May 3
1 min read

A path doing its own version of winding through open ground.

Flowers showing up in small clusters along the edges, like they decided to stop for a moment.

The ground shifting constantly—dust, stone, soft patches of green—no two steps quite the same.

Light sliding across everything like it’s got somewhere to be but isn’t in a rush.

The land opening wide, then narrowing again, then opening again, just because it can.

A steady forward line that keeps going anyway.

— Field Note
