Carrying Forward

Out on the trail, the path carries forward through the field, the ground shifting under each step — small rocks, soft dirt, uneven edges meeting the body as it moves, weight passing through, balance traveling with each stride.
The line of the trail bends through the landscape, rising, turning, drawing movement ahead, the body following, each step meeting the ground and continuing forward.
The pace builds, step into step, rhythm forming through contact with the land, through the movement of legs, through the space opening ahead.
Energy runs through the whole experience — through the body, through the ground, through the path — carrying everything forward together.
The ground changes, the body adjusts, the movement continues.
The path keeps going.
